Denying it only makes it stronger.
Posted By: The ROO // January 16, 2012Don’t make a resolution unless you plan to keep it. Sounds like common sense, but so does “Wear sunscreen when skinny dipping.” I learned that one the hard way. As far as resolutions, they sound fine and dandy in January, but come March we’re right back into our old ways. So let’s be real. I’m not losing 35 pounds. 10 I can do. 15 if I keep the donuts to breakfast only. And I’m not going to stop enjoying the finer things in life, so why kid myself? I love life and all the pleasures that go along with it. Whether it’s a nightcap after a long day, good seats at a concert, or sitting on the couch for two straight football games. And if I get a hankering for a chilidog, I’m getting a chilidog. Denying that craving can have disastrous effects. This isn’t proven by science yet, but I’ve got guys working on it. As long as I mix in some exercise and a salad, I’m good. Skeet shooting counts as exercise, right?
